Cron Job Monitoring, Uptime & SSL Certificate Alerts
For agencies and MSPs running cron jobs and Task Scheduler across multiple clients — one flat price, no per-monitor math, so a job that silently fails never reaches your client first.
Cron & Task Scheduler · Uptime · SSL — Linux and Windows, one flat price
A script can exit cleanly for days while doing nothing useful — and nobody notices until a client asks why their report never showed up.
OxFF sends a heartbeat: one line added to the end of your script that hits a check-in URL, for every cron job or Task Scheduler task you care about. Miss a check-in, and we alert you before your client does.
- ✓One pane for every client — cron jobs, Task Scheduler tasks, uptime, and SSL certs across all of your servers and clients, in a single dashboard
- ✓Scheduled task accountability — know immediately when a cron job or Task Scheduler script fails or doesn't run at all
- ✓Uptime monitoring — be the first to know when a web app goes down, and again when it comes back up
- ✓SSL certificate expiration — automated alerts with configurable lead time, no more spreadsheets or last-minute scrambles
Built for agencies, MSPs, and ops teams juggling scheduled jobs across multiple clients or servers. If you just need to watch one personal side project, a single-monitor free tool will do — OxFF earns its flat price once you're managing more than one.
OxFF started as a real-world solution: we were managing 100+ ETL scripts on Windows Task Scheduler for a client's ERP system, and when those scripts silently failed — or never ran at all — the only way to know was reactive troubleshooting after the damage was done. So we built OxFF to give us alerts the moment something goes wrong.
Since then we've rolled it out across all of our clients (Linux and Windows alike) because the same problems keep appearing everywhere. After a year in beta across dozens of servers and thousands of scripts, our customers love it. Now we can be 100% proactive in resolving issues — across all of our customers — before they escalate.

Task Accountability
Have you ever written a script and scheduled it in Windows Task Scheduler or crontab and then were called to troubleshoot if the task is running successfully or not? And if it did run, did it run completely? Or did it run into an error? What was the error? Had to do this on multiple servers? For multiple clients? It can be simply overwhelming maintaining your work.
OxFF was created to consolidate all of your scripts across multiple servers and clients, and report their status in one place. Now you spend less time collecting information from different sources and more time confirming everything is good or quickly troubleshooting the scripts that either checked in with an error or never checked in at all.
One place to see the status of all your scheduled scripts!
Setup takes one line, on Linux or Windows
Add a check-in to the end of your script. No agent to install.
# Linux cron / bash
curl -X POST https://oxff.com/companies/<company>/tasks/<task>/check_ins -d "OK"
# Windows Task Scheduler / PowerShell
Invoke-RestMethod -Method Post -Uri "https://oxff.com/companies/<company>/tasks/<task>/check_ins" -Body "OK"
That's the whole setup — if the check-in doesn't arrive on schedule, OxFF alerts you. No SDK, no config file.

Uptime Monitoring
Are you managing multiple web applications? Do you want to know when there is a problem? How about multiple applications for multiple companies?
OxFF quickly checks every server's status and notifies you when a web application is unreachable. It will also notify you when the web application returns to service (HTTP Status Code 200).

SSL Expiration Monitoring
Are you managing multiple SSL certificates? Do you have a spreadsheet of when they expire? Wish to have that automated?
OxFF can monitor the SSL certificate itself, or the entire chain, and you can configure how much lead time you require before being notified that the SSL certificate is nearing expiration. No more scramble to renew and implement on your webhost when a SSL certificate expires!
